Two Guided Walks on Saturday, April 26th for Earth Day

Land Trust Celebrates Earth Day with Guided Walks

On Saturday, April 26th at 10am take a Guided Hike through the 47-Acre Nancy Watson-Symington Woodlands. Enjoy a 90-minute Tour of Upland and Lowland Forests and view Watercourses. Chaperoned by Land Trust President Chris Schipper and Board Member Naturalist Penny Ross. Wear good hiking shoes and bring water. Families Welcome. Meet at the Wellesley Drive entrance off Greenley Road, New Canaan.

On Saturday, April 26th at 3pm help Plant Trees and enjoy a 40-minute Guided Walk around the W. Prichard Browne Wildlife Sanctuary. Hosted by Land Trust President Chris Schipper and Board Member Naturalist Penny Ross, come by to assist planting tree saplings and learn more about this 10.5-acre woodlands with beautiful views of the Grupes Reservoir and a large Glacial Erratic. Meet at the Northern end of Valley Road: Entrance across from lower loop of Colonial Road, New Canaan
