When I walked Colhoun yesterday I noticed a lot of milkweed, which is great for butterflies and Monarchs in particular. So please, lets not mow Colhoun. I haven't checked Hicks but I hope the milkweed is prevalent. When I weedwacked the stonewall at LHM I noticed many milkweed stems...

Meadows = insects = butterflies = birds = bats

So, our future policy should be to let meadows grow and only mow perimeters to allow visitor walkways...
